STOPS

We offer prevention, intervention, and postvention programs in hopes of creating a suicide-safer community and eliminating the stigma that surrounds suicide. If you are having thoughts of suicide, have lost someone to suicide, are worried about someone, or have survived an attempt, we are here to help. We understand life can become overwhelming, difficult, and sometimes even scary, but it is important that you know you are not alone.

What we do

STOPS provides support services to those who have experienced loss through suicide, both immediate and ongoing, via our  LOSS and SOS  programs. We also offer training to educators, schools, corporations, community groups, first responders, mental health professionals, and everyone interested in listening.

If you need to talk, the 988 Lifeline is here.

LOSS Team

Local Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) provides immediate hands-on assistance to those newly aggrieved by the loss of a loved one to suicide.

SOS Group

Our Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Support Group is for anyone who has been affected by the loss of a loved one by suicide.
